MIND YOUR LANGUAGE | ENGLISH
Primary 1 - Primary 6
Teaching English through isolated worksheets often results in students not understanding the relationship between the structure of a piece of writing and its meaning. This is particularly evident in primary school students as they do not use the correct vocabulary and the proper sentence structure. Mind Your Language (MYL) English programme for primary school teaches students the role of grammar, vocabulary in the context of language meaning.
MIND ON MATHEMATICS
Primary 1 - Primary 6
Mind On Mathematics (MOM) is a programme that we developed based on a constructive approach where our teachers display a wide range of facilitative skills - negotiating outcomes, support learner discussion and getting relevant feedback. The key to the programme is the ability of our teachers to respond to the different learning abilities of our young minds. Learning mathematics should be fun, we make it so by tailoring our programme to be more socially mediated. We created and environment that is conducive for our young inquisitive minds to express themselves freely while concepts and skills are internalised and mastered through our experienced teachers.

MIND ON SCIENCE

It is noted that the learning of primary school science tend to be both exclusive and heterogenous. Our Teachers constantly reflect on how best to design teaching mechanisms through which our young minds are invited to engage with the evidentiary base of the subject and record their reflections on it. One of the key success of the programme is the use of technology to make the lessons come alive! The extensive use of guided media resources supports quality learning outcome. By this we mean learning outcomes that involve conceptual change and a deep understanding of the content. Mind On Science (primary) programme is a holistic approach that incorporate both learning outcomes and learning process based on the premise that learning arise from what students experience.
